Xbox will bring a demo of Hollow Knight: Silksong to gamescom 2025, and you can try it out on ROG's new Xbox Ally X console

Microsoft traditionally has big booths at gamescom and the 2025 event will not only be no exception, but will give gamers something they've been dreaming of for a long time - new information about Hollow Knight: Silksong.

At the Xbox booth, gamescom 2025 visitors will be able to check out the public demo of the long-awaited metroidvania Hollow Knight: Silksong, and it will be possible to do this not only on PC, but also on the new ROG Xbox Ally X handheld console, which will be the first time that the gadget will be available and gamers will be able to test it. Thus, there will be a huge amount of interesting videos on the web, dedicated to both the game and the promising console, created by Xbox together with ASUS.

Interestingly, Microsoft has outlined the release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong as "over the festive period and beyond", usually meaning late autumn and the Christmas period.

Overall, Xbox will showcase more than 20 games from its studios and third-party partners at gamescom 2025, with demos for Grounded 2, Borderlands 4, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, EA Sports FC 26, Cronos: The New Dawn, PowerWash Simulator 2, Invincible VS, Ninja Gaiden 4.
