Lviv-based startup Sine.Engineering has developed a navigation system for drones that works even when GPS is actively jammed or coordinates are changed. They manage to calculate the drone's position using time-of-flight technology, i.e. the time the signal is transmitted. "We realised from the very beginning that we could no longer rely on GPS," says Andriy Chulyk, co-founder of the company.

"Drone warfare is no longer a weapon of desperation, it is the reality of modern warfare. A new face of modern warfare is being formed here and now. That is why many foreign companies come to Ukraine to gain experience. 24/7 feedback from drone operators allows us to stay in the context of military technology.

More than 70 drone manufacturers have already integrated Sine.Engineering's solutions, and the team consists of about 150 employees. The company plans to make its first round of investments in 2025 and increase production fivefold with this additional funding.
