Xiaomi is preparing for the global launch of a new smartphone under the Poco brand. Recently, a device with the model number 2511FPC34G appeared in the IMEI database, and now it has also been certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

Here's What We Know

This indicates that we are approaching the official release on the international market.

Reportedly, the new product is a global version of the Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone, which is available in China under the index 2511FRT34C, and in India as 2511FRT34I. The model number 2511FPC34G itself, as well as the letter "P" in the middle, hints at belonging to the Poco line, which is often an international version of Chinese Redmi models with some changes in design or firmware.

EEC certification is usually one of the last steps before a product is released in European markets, so this is an important signal that Xiaomi is actively preparing for the launch of the Poco X8 Pro. In the EEC document, the device is already listed as a Poco model, which excludes other sub-brands of the company.

The Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to debut on the Chinese market around November 2025, but the global variant under the Poco brand may appear later, presumably in January 2026.
