Kyiv-based MacPaw has unveiled the biggest update to CleanMyMac in more than 17 years of the app's existence. From now on, with the new Cloud Cleanup feature, users can clean up not only their computers but also their cloud services: Google Drive, iCloud and OneDrive. All of this is within a single interface, without unnecessary tabs and manual sorting.

"We accumulate files in the cloud for years, and then pay for additional gigabytes or frantically delete something before a deadline. Cloud Cleanup makes it possible to clean up your clouds smartly, safely, and without hassle," explains Alexander Kosovan, CEO of MacPaw.

What Cloud Cleanup can do

Scans your cloud accounts and shows you how much space is used and which files haven't been used in years.
Lets you view the results in a convenient way: a list with old files or a visual map with the biggest memory eaters.
Deletes unnecessary files or de-synchronises files - that is, leaves them in the cloud but deletes local copies from your Mac.
Reminds you when the cloud is almost full or if you find "extra" files.

CleanMyMac supports Google Drive and OneDrive through the respective Mac apps (with account sign-in), and iCloud through your Apple account, which ensures broad compatibility and paves the way for adding new cloud services in the future.

Availability.

Cloud Cleanup will be available from 29 July 2025 in the Plus plan. The company is also introducing a new pricing tier - Basic and Plus - to better adapt to the needs of different users.
