The Leapmotor B10 enters the European market with a price of less than €30,000
Chinese carmaker Leapmotor, with the support of Stellantis, has opened orders for the B10 electric crossover. From 30 July, the model is available for pre-order in a number of European countries at a starting price of €29,900.
Here's What We Know
The B10 is built on the new LEAP3.5 architecture. An electric motor with 218 hp and 240 N-m of torque drives the rear wheels. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8 seconds, top speed is limited at 170 km/h.
Two battery versions are available:
- 56.2 kWh - range up to 361 kilometres WLTP;
- 67.1 kWh - up to 434 kilometres.
Alternating current (AC) charging up to 11 kW is supported, as well as direct current (DC) fast charging up to 168 kW. The battery can be charged from 30 to 80 per cent in about 20 minutes.
The B10 is characterised by smooth lines and proportions for European streets: length 4,515 mm, width 1,885 mm, height 1,655 mm and wheelbase 2,735 mm. Spaciousness in the interior is one of the main trump cards: the ceiling height in the front is 1 027 mm, in the rear - 1 005 mm. There are 22 storage compartments for small things.
The centrepiece of the front panel is a 14.6-inch "hovering" touchscreen with a resolution of 2.5K. The Snapdragon 8155 chip is responsible for performance, the interface runs on the proprietary LEAP OS 4.0 Plus system with 3D graphics and customisable design. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support will be added via an OTA update in December 2025.
The model is aiming for a five-star Euro NCAP rating. The design utilises high-strength steel, features all-round visibility (360°) and a suite of 17 electronic driver assistants (ADAS).
Leapmotor will offer two versions of the B10 :
- LIFE - basic, but generously equipped with a 1.8 m² panoramic roof with electric sunshade, 18-inch wheels, surround-view cameras and a full range of driver assistance systems.
- DESIGN - additionally includes eco-leather interior, customisable lighting, heated, ventilated and electrically operated front seats.
