Insider: Honor is preparing a powerful Magic8 Ultra flagship powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 and with 200 MP sensor
Chinese brand Honor is preparing a new flagship, which will surprise with its performance and a set of powerful cameras, and will be a serious competitor to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Xiaomi 16 Ultra and other Ultra-smartphones.

A reputable insider Digital Chat Station reported that the Magic8 Ultra is in development. It will get a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm, which will provide excellent performance even in the most resource-intensive tasks.
The prototype gadget has a large OmniVision sensor with LOFIC support, as well as a 200 MP sensor in the periscope module, which is responsible for optical zoom.
It is reported that one of the Honor engineers stated that "Magic8 Ultra is something that no one has ever seen or even thought of".
The Magic8 Ultra is likely to go on sale in 2026.
