Skoda has revealed the first details about the Vision O concept car, which will premiere in Munich in early September.

Here's What We Know

Not much so far. The only teaser photo and a short video clip shows the silhouette of a long station wagon. Of the interesting features should be noted strongly set on the sides of the headlights and taillights, as well as sloping boot door glass. It is also possible that instead of side mirrors, the Vision O has cameras with inbuilt light indicators.

In a press release, Skoda says that the concept car gives a glimpse of the brand's future in the station wagon segment and marks an evolution of the Modern Solid design concept. The Vision O also reflects Skoda's 130-year tradition and emphasises the company's commitment to sustainable innovation.

Skoda's most successful station wagon is the Octavia, first introduced in 1960. Modern versions of the Škoda Octavia station wagon have now passed the milestone of more than 3 million units produced in four generations since 1998, making it also the best-selling station wagon model in the brand's history. First introduced in 2008 with the second modern generation Superb, the Škoda Superb station wagon is also very popular. Other popular Škoda station wagon models include the Škoda 1101 Tudor Station Wagon (STW) with folding rear seat, as well as the Škoda 1200/1201/1202 family of models.
