LeapFrog has introduced LeapMove, a motion-controlled learning game system for children aged 4-7. It is designed as an alternative to passive content consumption: instead of a tablet screen, the child interacts with the game through body movement - a gesture-tracking camera and interactive mini-games.

According to LeapFrog, the device aims to combine physical activity and basic learning, including the alphabet, numbers, vocabulary, spatial reasoning and more. The system has been tested by educators and is built on a proven educational model the company has been using for more than 20 years.

LeapMove includes 25 built-in learning activities, stores a three-player profile and requires no Wi-Fi connection or subscription. It's compatible with a regular TV, connects via HDMI and costs $69.99.

According to the developers, the system helps "move kids off the couch" and regain interest in learning through play. It's part of LeapFrog's broader strategy to offer simple, affordable and not overloaded with technology solutions for early development.
