The new Realme GT 8 Pro will be the flagship of late 2025 with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 - a 3 nm chip from Qualcomm with a performance increase of ~26% compared to its predecessor, Digital Chat Station reports on Weibo. The smartphone will have a flat OLED screen with 2K resolution, 120 Hz, and an ultrasonic scanner under the screen. The main camera is a 200 MP periscope, probably Samsung HP9, with 4×4 pixel binning and excellent detail even in the dark.

Realme is considering three battery options: 8,000 mAh with 80W (≈70 minutes of charging), 7,500 mAh with 100W (≈55 minutes), or 7,000 mAh with 120W (≈42 minutes) - a balance between autonomy and charging speed. Leaks confirm that the final version will feature a variant of at least 7,000 mAh with 100W charging.

Once again, the information about a metal frame, IP protection (IP68/69 is expected), support for stereo speakers, and an ultrasonic sensor under the screen is confirmed - all in the spirit of a premium flagship. The device runs on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, with memory options up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The announcement is expected in the fourth quarter of 2025, with a Chinese version to be released first. Realme usually releases flagships in Q4, as it did with the GT 7 Pro last year.
