Rumour: Nvidia may significantly reduce the price of GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards due to market saturation
Since the beginning of 2025, GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards have become significantly cheaper on some marketplaces. Not so long ago, resellers were buying up graphics cards in large batches for resale, but now the market is so saturated with graphics processors that the demand for them is much lower than the supply.
For example, recently the price of RTX 5070 in the US fell to a historic low of $580, and the same situation is happening with RTX 5060.
Of course, Nvidia is aware of the drop in sales and is preparing measures to restore customer activity.
Here's What We Know
On the Chinese portal Board Channels Forums, where employees of companies producing graphics cards and other devices communicate, there is information that Nvidia and its partners can implement a significant price reduction for the entire line of RTX 50 - and it can happen in August.
Thus the corporation plans to increase sales of its GPUs and increase the liquidity of the market.
