Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition sales have surpassed 250,000 copies - more content to come next

The release of Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition took place in the middle of July and became an important event for fans of classic strategy games.

The updated version of the cult game of 2002 sold a hundred thousand copies in just two days and three weeks later the sales rate continues to please the developers.

FireFly studio has published a small video, in which they announced that more than 250 thousand gamers have already joined the medieval battles in the Middle East.

The company thanks everyone who showed interest in Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition and reminds that there is an extensive post-release support for the game, which includes not only small updates, but also two major expansions that will offer free and paid content.

The autumn update will bring:

• five economic campaign missions;
• a new AI enemy;
• new maps.

Winter gamers will get:

• a set of tools for creating levels and missions;
• ten co-operative missions;
• more maps.

Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition is only available on Steam and has received 90% positive reviews.
