Samsung has sold more than 3 million Galaxy S25 smartphones in South Korea in the first six months of the year, the fastest sales pace of any Galaxy S model: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Galaxy S25 Ultra accounted for about half of all shipments. The main drivers of success are cameras, performance and longer software updates. The Galaxy S25 line went on sale in the company's home market in early February 2025.

For comparison, the Galaxy S24 passed the 3 million mark 2 months later. And this is impressive because the S24 line was also considered a success.

Successful sales were also influenced by subscription sales - buyers paid a monthly fee, and after a year, Samsung undertakes to replace the smartphone with a new version at half price with a 50% surcharge.

Samsung also announced that sales of the Galaxy Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7 were also more successful than the Fold6/Flip6 generation, but did not provide absolute figures.
