Vivo has unveiled a new Vivo Y400 5G smartphone which has made its debut in the Indian market. It is an affordable mid-range device aimed at users who value high battery life, quality screen and 5G connectivity support.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone has a 6.67″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The maximum brightness reaches 1800 nits, which ensures comfortable usage in bright sunlight.

The Vivo Y400 5G utilises a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which offers high performance and 5G support. RAM is 8GB and inbuilt memory is 128GB or 256GB, depending on the model. Expansion of memory with microSD is not provided.

The main camera is represented by a dual module: the main sensor at 50 MP and an additional 2 MP. The 32MP front camera guarantees high-quality images for selfies and video calls.

Battery capacity of 6000 mAh will provide a long autonomous work, and support for fast charging with a capacity of 90W will allow you to replenish the battery in the shortest possible time.

The novelty from Vivo is protected from water and dust by IP68 and IP69 standards. The device runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

From the audio functions it is worth noting the presence of stereo speakers, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Vivo Y400 5G is available in two colours - olive green and pearlescent white.

The 128GB storage model is priced at $250, while the 256GB version is priced at $273 (in Rupee terms).

The Vivo Y400 5G will eventually be available in other markets as well, but most likely under a different name.
