An image has been found in the iOS 26 beta that hints that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will feature a larger display with a resolution of 422×514 pixels - up from 410×502 on the Ultra 2. The diagonal is expected to increase to approximately 1.98″, while the Ultra 2 has 1.93″.

The case size is not expected to change (49 mm), and the increase in display size will only come from the reduction of the bezels.

What is known about the Watch Ultra 3 so far

Display: OLED LTPO3, brighter and more energy efficient

New S10 or S11 chip will provide better performance and speed

The gadget will receive satellite communication, SMS sending functions without mobile or Wi-Fi signal, and 5G RedCap connection for autonomous work without an iPhone. New healthcare features are also expected, such as high blood pressure detection.

A 3% increase in screen size is not revolutionary, but it doesn't need to be. It's just a little bit of a refresh to the design. The most anticipated change from the Apple Watch is an increase in battery life, but Apple is not ready to sacrifice functionality for battery life. And there is no way to increase battery life without cutting back on features.
