A new trailer from Bloober Team reveals the plot features of Cronos: The New Dawn

Polish studio Bloober Team released a detailed trailer about the plot of sci-fi horror game Cronos: The New Dawn.

About the nuances of the game told the lead writer and narrative designer Grzegorz Like and producer Klaudia Sewera. They reminded that the events of Cronos: The New Dawn develop in the alternative 1980s on the territory of Poland, destroyed as a result of a global catastrophe.

The development team made great efforts to give Krakow, where the players will find themselves, a realistic look, but at the same time show it from an unusual angle.

The focus of the horror will be on the Traveller, who works for the secret organisation Kollektiv. She will go to the past to search for important characters whose knowledge can save humanity in the present. To do this, the protagonist must collect "soul essence" and, as the developers say, this process will be quite painful and sometimes even fatal for the subjects.

Sometimes players will be able to choose which character to go after next, and this will have an impact on the story. Cronos: The New Dawn will have several ending options that will depend on the player's actions.

Cronos: The New Dawn will release on 5 September on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2.
