Microsoft has released another acclaimed game from one of its internal studios on PlayStation 5. This time the status of Xbox console exclusive lost the cinematic action game Senua's Saga: Hellblade II from the British studio Ninja Theory.

Here's What We Know

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II was released on PlayStation 5 in the Enhanced edition, while PC and Xbox Series users received a free update.

The new version of the game offers an improved photo mode that allows you to shoot video clips, support for 60 FPS on consoles (in performance mode) and a new Dark Rot Challenge mode (the decomposition of flesh will increase with each defeat up to the need to start the passage again - this is the implementation of an idea that was never implemented in the first part of Hellblade). Also available in Senua's Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced are developer commentaries - 4 hours of information about the process of creating the game).

The game supports all the features of the DualSense controller and received an improved version for PS5 Pro with increased frame rate and increased resolution.

Recall, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II was released in the spring of 2024 and earned high marks from critics, but due to its niche nature did not become a hit. At the same time, the game won many awards and first of all for the technical performance, amazing work with sound and incredible acting of the main character, played by German actress Melina Juergens.
