Will Neo Berlin 2087 become another failure? The new trailer of the cyberpunk action film has caused mixed reactions from the public

German studio Elysium Game has released a gameplay trailer of cyberpunk action game Neo Berlin 2087, timed to coincide with the upcoming gamescom 2025.

Here's What We Know

The authors showed several staged scenes and a number of gameplay footage, which presents spectacular shootouts in the world of the not-too-distant future.

Once again, we can't help but notice that stylistically the game reminds Cyberpunk 2077 and the last two parts of Deus Ex, but there are reasonable fears that Neo Berlin 2087 will not reach their level.

Gamers correctly point out that the decent graphics make the game look expensive, but the strange voice acting and outdated animation, including facial animation, make the project seem cheap and mediocre. The most critically minded commentators even compare Neo Berlin 2087 with (so far) the most failed game of 2025 - MindsEye, though we should admit that the gameplay of the novelty looks quite good and dynamic.

The main character of Neo Berlin 2087 will be a private detective Nolan, who investigates the murder of the chief of the police department and tries to protect his daughter, as she has important information and can help solve the case.

Neo Berlin 2087 release date is still unknown, but the game can already be added to your wishlist. The game is being developed for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
