Leaked: Sony to unveil INZONE H9 II universal gamer headphones that are compatible with all platforms, including Xbox

Sony is preparing to unveil a new version of the INZONE gaming headset, which will be the successor to the INZONE H9 model released in 2022.

French insider billbil-kun shared interesting information about the characteristics, cost and main features of INZONE H9 II.

Here's What We Know

According to Dealabs portal, the announcement of the headphones is expected on 19 August 2025 - on the eve of gamescom 2025.

INZONE H9 II are developed together with the cyber sports organisation Fnatic and are aimed at professional gamers. The headset features the same drivers as the WH-1000XM6, delivers high-quality sound and support for 360 Reality Audio spatial sound.

The weight of the device has been reduced from 330 grams to 260 grams, which improves comfort during prolonged use. The battery life is up to 30 hours, slightly less than the previous model.

The microphone has become detachable and got support for AI-based noise cancellation. Wired connectivity via a 3.5mm jack has been added, making Sony's headphones compatible with Xbox. Bluetooth LE Audio support has also been added.

The INZONE H9 II will cost $/€349.99, which is $/€50 more than the starting price of the previous model.

Pre-orders will begin on 19 August, with sales starting in early September.
