Chinese company Zinwa Technologies has decided to bring back to the market an iconic gadget - the BlackBerry Classic Q20, which was one of the first smartphones in the modern sense while ending the era of button phones.

Its reincarnation goes on sale under the name Zinwa Q25 Pro and combines the signature BlackBerry style with modern technology, offering a unique experience for those who miss the physical keyboard and trackpad.

Here's What We Know

The Zinwa Q25 Pro retains its recognisable design: a compact body, a square 3.5″ screen with a resolution of 720×720 pixels, a full QWERTY keyboard and even a trackpad that's now adapted for Android.

But inside, everything is state-of-the-art: a powerful MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery with USB-C and fast charging support.

The device runs on Android 13 instead of Blackberry's own outdated OS 10, making it fully compatible with modern apps and services.

The smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC protocols.

Zinwa is offering two options: a ready-made smartphone for $420 and a DIY kit for $320 for those who want to upgrade their old BlackBerry Q20 on their own. The company has already started taking pre-orders, with mass deliveries expected in September.

Zinwa is also considering upgrading other iconic BlackBerry models, including the Passport and KEYone - all depending on the success of the Q25 Pro.
