Finally, the rumour of an animated series based on the popular game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been confirmed.

Here's What We Know

At gamescom Opening Night Live the debut trailer of Sekiro: No Defeat anime was presented.

According to the shown footage it becomes obvious that the plot and the general narrative will not undergo major changes, and in the centre of attention will once again be a one-armed shinobi nicknamed Wolf. He must rescue his young master Kuro in order to stop the infighting in Japan unleashed by the Ashina clan.

There is no doubt that the brutality and dynamic fights from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be transferred to the anime - there will be a lot of blood, lightning fast sword fights and dramatic scenes.

The series is being produced by Japanese studio ARCH with the support of Crunchyroll. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
