Rumours about a new LEGO game about Batman have been confirmed: Traveller's Tales studio announced LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight action-adventure game.

Here's What We Know

Conceptually, the novelty resembles LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and combines the plots and characters of numerous films, TV series and games about the famous Dark Knight.

The developers will recreate the entire path of Batman from the moment when he just started to fight crime, to his becoming a hero of Gotham and the threat of the most insidious Supervillains.

The authors of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will try to maintain a balance between a light and slightly humorous narrative and the dark atmosphere of Christopher Nolan's films.

In terms of combat system and overall gameplay, the new game is reminiscent of the Batman: Arkham trilogy, but due to its setting and low age rating LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is slightly simplified.

When We Can Expect It

No release date for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has been announced yet, the game is being created for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2.
