El Presidente is coming back! Tropico 7 - a new simulator of dictator of the island state - was announced.

Publisher Kalypso Media has pleased fans of the satirical economic strategy series Tropico with the announcement of the new part, which was made during the gamescom 2025 exhibition.

Here's What We Know

The debut trailer doesn't reveal all the details of Tropico 7, but it tells us the main thing: the centre of events will once again be a cartoon dictator El Presidente, who holds power in an abstract island state, obviously similar to Cuba.

Players will face five maps of the story campaign, where they will have to organise the life of citizens, so that they do not revolt, but at the same time to establish schemes of their own enrichment and develop a corrupt system of government.

Gamers will once again be able to suppress dissent, fight rebels and eliminate political rivals.

From the first seconds of the trailer it is obvious that the humorous style of Tropico will not disappear in the seventh part of the series, which can not but please its fans.

When We Can Expect It

Tropico 7 will be released in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The game will be available in Game Pass subscription from the day of release.
