The action-adventure Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which was originally released in December 2024 on Xbox and PC, and then moved to PlayStation 5 this spring, is now preparing to debut on Nintendo Switch 2. However, you shouldn't get excited in advance - the release is only scheduled for 2026.

Here's What We Know

The announcement was made during the Gamescom Opening Night Live ceremony. At the end of the trailer of the new DLC The Order of Giants flashed that the game is heading to Switch 2. The add-on will be released as early as 4 September and will tell the new adventures of Indiana Jones, who this time will unravel the mysteries of the Roman Empire.

This is a big moment for Nintendo Switch 2 - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be the first port of an Xbox game to the new console. Prior to that, the platform has already received announcements for a number of projects: Persona 3 Reload (October 2025) and Kirby Air Riders (November 2025), with the latter being an exclusive.

As for the release of the Indiana Jones game itself on Switch 2 - there's no exact date or price yet. Judging by the pace of porting, Nintendo has decided to go heavy on high-profile titles to bolster its console's launch lineup.

Fans can only wait until 2026 - and trust that by then, Indiana Jones on Switch 2 will feel just as good as it does on the big platforms.
