Basim will have something to do: Ubisoft is developing a free add-on for Assassin's Creed Mirage
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed Mirage (2023) game will get a free content add-on.
Here's What We Know
The French publisher has revealed that it is working on new content for Mirage. Details of the add-on are still few, but it is stated that players will be able to visit the oasis of Al-Ula (AlUla), where the plot of the new missions will unfold. As in the main game, the events will take place in the IX century, and Basim will be in the centre of attention again, as he is depicted on the banner.
General gameplay improvements are also announced.
The addition is likely to be the result of Ubisoft's partnership with a Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund, which was revealed earlier this year. Savvy Games Group actively invests in international game companies and is interested in promoting Arab culture, and Mirage fits for this as well as possible.
The release date of the free update is still unknown.
