Renault has officially announced the new generation of the Clio compact model. Despite the fact that the current, fifth generation, still sells well and often tops the European ratings, its life cycle is coming to an end, and the next iteration is being prepared to replace it.

Here's What We Know

The sixth-generation Renault Clio will premiere on 8 September at the IAA Mobility 2025 motor show in Munich. The very next day the novelty will be able to see the general public. Judging by spy shots, the new Clio is noticeably different from the current one in design: the brand has completely renewed its style in recent years, and the current hatchback is still largely based on the last generation.

The new Clio is likely to be based on a further development of the CMF platform, so we can expect to see both mild hybrid petrol engines and fully hybrid versions.

A broadcast of the presentation will be available to watch online on Renault's media site(here)
