Rumours about Call of Duty getting a film adaptation have been going around for years. Because of the high cinematography of the popular shooter series, such an idea doesn't seem strange and obviously failed, especially considering that more and more films based on games get high marks and collect excellent box office receipts. And new insider information indicates that the potential film could be in good hands.

Here's What We Know

Puck published information from two independent sources, according to which Paramount Pictures is interested in acquiring the rights to a Call of Duty film adaptation. At the moment, allegedly, are negotiating with Activision, but there are no specifics yet.

Recall, not so long ago it was Paramount that released three popular films in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, which showed excellent box office receipts.

It is worth noting that a few years ago there was already an attempt to screen Call of Duty, but the project was frozen in 2020.
