Lenovo Project Pivo: even a laptop is dizzy
Lenovo is preparing a surprise for IFA 2025: a leak has shown a Project Pivo concept laptop with a unique rotating display. The concept is somewhat similar to the LG Wing smartphone, but for a laptop, this form factor is more justified, as it is much more difficult to turn it into a vertical orientation.

Here's What We Know
The screen can be rotated 90°, switching between landscape and portrait orientation. This is useful for viewing vertical content (social media, documents, web). You can also connect to a monitor and display the main application on it, and the toolbar on the vertical laptop screen.
The rendering shows an elegant body with thin bezels. The screen module looks quite thin and does not visually increase the thickness of the laptop. The new product is expected to be presented at IFA/Innovation Week next week.
Lenovo is actively experimenting with displays in laptops. One can recall at least the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable with a retractable OLED screen that unfolds upwards like a roll. The company also showed the ThinkPad X1 Fold, which has a flexible folding display.
