"5 inches changes everything": Samsung has unveiled the world's first 37″ 4K monitor
Samsung has announced the world's first 37″ 4K monitor, which, according to the manufacturer, is capable of "changing everyday life, thanks to the increased screen size".
Here's What We Know
The Samsung ViewFinity S8 37″ is the latest professional monitor from Samsung with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which occupies a middle ground between the popular 32″ and 43″ models.
The new model is distinguished only by its larger diagonal, in everything else - it is identical to the 32″ Samsung ViewFinity and features built-in streaming applications, supports voice control and can work without a PC connection.
Key features of the ViewFinity S8 37″:
- VA matrix with 3000:1 contrast ratio and 350 nits brightness;
- HDR10 and support for 1.07 billion colours;
- USB-C with 90W charging, built-in LAN port;
- KVM switch - control two devices with one keyboard and mouse;
- PBP and PIP modes;
- TÜV Rheinland certification (eye protection and ergonomics).
"5 inches can change everything" - with this slogan Samsung emphasises that the increase in diagonal size to 37 inches significantly increases the comfort of using the monitor, which is especially important for designers, programmers and those who work with text and graphics.
The price and release date of the ViewFinity S8 37″ has not yet been disclosed.
