Tecno has unveiled two new smartphones, the Spark Slim and Pova Slim, which feature a combination of sleek design and impressive specifications. The cases are just 5.93mm and 5.95mm thick, making them among the thinnest smartphones on the market, while featuring a 5160mAh battery that provides long battery life.

Here's What We Know

Both devices get a curved 6.78″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2720×1224 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i coating and the back panel is made of aerospace glass fibre with a thickness of just 0.36mm.

Both the gadgets get a 50MP main camera and a 13MP front camera, while the Spark Slim additionally features a Mood Light LED panel that responds to notifications and calls.

Despite the minimal thickness, the smartphones support 45W fast charging as well as 10W reverse charging. The devices are IP64 protected against moisture and dust.

The Tecno Spark Slim and Pova Slim come with the proprietary HiOS shell based on Android 15 and have an Ella AI assistant capable of adapting to the user's habits.

Tecno has utilised its own Honeycomb technology, placing components in a honeycomb-like pattern to achieve record thinness without compromising on performance. Meanwhile, the USB Type-C port is just 0.45mm thick, the battery is 4.04mm thick and the vaping chamber is 0.3mm thick.

The smartphones will go on sale on 4 September first in India only. The price of the Tecno Spark Slim and Pova Slim has not been announced yet, but the devices are expected to be positioned in the mid-price segment.
