The 4X-strategy Stellaris will get a major Shroud of the Shroud add-on at the end of September

Paradox Interactive continues to support the popular 4X-strategy Stellaris and announced the next addition Shadows of the Shroud, which will be part of the ninth season of the game.

Here's What We Know

The developers reported that Shadows of the Shroud will be released on the 22nd of September and, as always, will add a lot of new features and content to Stellaris.

Among other things, the authors promise:

• a completely redesigned psionic path of civilisation ascension;
• a new Shroud attunement panel, which will open after entering a location;
• the effect of the Shroud on player systems and psionic auras;
• additional origins, civilian models, rule types, events, and more.

Stellaris Season 09 purchasers will receive Shadows of the Shroud for free, while other players are encouraged to pre-order.
