TCL has unveiled the new Thunderbird Q9 gaming monitor, which, thanks to its advanced QD-miniLED technology, delivers incredible brightness, accurate colour reproduction and deep contrast. But the main thing is the high refresh rate, which is especially important for cyber athletes and fans of competitive shooters.

Here's What We Know

The Thunderbird Q9 monitor has a 34″ curved panel with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and 1500R curvature. The 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time guarantee lightning-fast response and smooth images even in the most dynamic games. Support for AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync anti-aliasing technologies eliminates frame gaps and makes the gaming experience as comfortable as possible.

TCL has paid special attention to the backlight: 2,304 zones of local dimming with QD-miniLED technology allows you to achieve brightness up to 1600 nits, and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification confirms the outstanding quality of HDR content. Colour gamut is 98% DCI-P3 and factory calibration ensures accuracy with ΔE<2, making the monitor suitable for professional graphics work.

The Thunderbird Q9 offers a wide range of ports including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with up to 90W charging support, as well as a USB hub and audio jack. A built-in KVM switch allows you to control two devices from a single keyboard and mouse, while an ergonomic stand provides flexible screen positioning.

The monitor is already on sale in China at a price of around $560 (in RMB terms).
