Acer has unveiled the Iconia X12 and Iconia X14 - lightweight, powerful tablets for work, leisure and creativity

At the IFA 2025 trade show in Berlin, apart from the ultra-thin Swift Air 16 laptop, Acer has unveiled two new compact tablets - the Iconia X12 and Iconia X14.

Both gadgets will come with Android 15, feature bright OLED displays and offer advanced multimedia, creativity and everyday tasks.

Here's What We Know

TheIconia X12 is a lightweight and versatile tablet with a 12.6″ AMOLED screen and a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It uses a power-efficient MediaTek Helio G99 chip that allows the device to run for up to 16 hours without charging. The RAM is 8GB and the inbuilt storage is up to 256GB expandable via microSD. Stylus and magnetic keyboard support makes the X12 a handy tool for taking notes, drawing and working on the go.

TheIconia X14 gets a 14″ OLED display with a resolution of 1920×1200 and an inbuilt Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that enables fast AI functions. The tablet is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage up to 256GB.

The X14 supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 and has four built-in speakers.

Both models support USB-C, microSD up to 1TB, and can also be used as a wireless laptop display. The Iconia X12 weighs just 500g and the Iconia X14 weighs 910g.

The tablets will go on sale in Europe in the first quarter of 2026, priced at:

  • Iconia X12 - from €369;
  • Iconia X14 from €310.
