Huawei remains the only company in the world to offer customers a Trifold foldable smartphone. And today, the Chinese giant unveiled the Mate XTs, the world's first Trifold with stylus support.

Here's What We Know

The Mate XTs, like its predecessor the Huawei Mate XT, has a triple folding mechanism that allows you to transform the device from a compact smartphone into a full-size tablet. When unfolded, the screen diagonal is 10.2″ and when folded, it is only 6.4″, making it convenient for both work and everyday use.

The device is powered by the flagship Kirin 9020 processor, supports satellite connectivity and features a 50MP camera with variable aperture and an improved telephoto lens.

Huawei paid special attention to stylus support, which favourably distinguishes the Mate XTs from the previous model.

The new Trifold has a 5,600mAh battery, 66W fast charging, and support for wireless and reverse charging.

The smartphone runs on HarmonyOS 5.1, offering deep integration with the Huawei ecosystem and advanced multitasking capabilities. The design of the device is done in premium colours and to the black and red body of the Mate XT, they have added white with gold accents and deep purple, highlighting the status of the flagship.

The Huawei Mate XTs price starts at $2,520 (in Yuan terms) and goes up to $3100 in the maximum configuration. For now, the Mate XTs is only available in the Chinese market, but Huawei is considering an international release.
