Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE, a low-cost flagship smartphone with top-end specs and cutting-edge AI capabilities

Samsung held Galaxy Event 2025, the main star of which was the flagship smartphone Galaxy S25 FE, aimed at the most loyal fans of the Korean brand.

The Galaxy S25 FE gets new hardware, the latest One UI 8 firmware, support for advanced Galaxy AI features, and Galaxy S25-level cameras.

• Dimensions: 76.6×161.3×7.4 mm, 190 grams;
• display: 6.7", Dynamic AMOLED 2X, Full HD+, 60-120 Hz, up to 1900 nits;
• processor: 10-core Exynos 2400, 3.21 GHz, Xclipse 940;
• memory: 8GB RAM + 128/256/512GB ROM;
• cameras: 50MP, ƒ/1.8, 84°, 1.0µm, OIS + 12MP, ƒ/2.2, 123°, 1.12µm (wide-angle) + 8MP, ƒ/2.4, 32°, 1.0µm, 3x optic zoom, OIS (telephoto lens); 12MP, ƒ/2.2, 80°, 1.12µm (front);

The S25 FE has a reinforced metal body made of reinforced aluminium like in the S25/25+, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective coating for the screen and matte glass for the rear surface.

The new product is fully integrated with Galaxy AI, enabling Gemini Live, Circle to Search, Now Brief, Writing Assist, Call Assist and other useful AI features.

Samsung separately highlights the AI options that help in taking quality photos and videos of the Galaxy S25 FE:

• ProVisual - AI image processing algorithm;
• AI zoom;
• AI editor and Thumbnail to Image;
• AI ISP-based night photography;
• customised AI filters;
• "fast editing" with AI to create gallery videos;
• "noise removal" with AI.

Samsung is committed to releasing OS updates and security patches for the Galaxy S25 FE for seven years.

The Galaxy S25 FE will be available in four colours: blue, cyan, black and white.

The price remains unchanged at $649 and is already available for purchase in select regions.
