"Borderlands is back!" - Gearbox unveiled the release trailer of the fourth part of the popular shooter series
Publisher 2K Games and Gearbox studio presented the release trailer of ambitious co-operative shooter Borderlands 4, which will be released next week.
Here's What We Know
The developers reminded that on the 12th of September Borderlands fans will be able to dive into a new crazy story. The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and on 3 October it will be released on Nintendo Switch 2.
The events of Borderlands 4 are set on the planet Kairos, ruled by a tyrant called Timekeeper, who has his own cyber-army. Four Vault Hunters will find themselves in conditions of limited freedom and will try to regain control over the situation, while doing their direct duties - searching for ancient artefacts.
The plot of the new game will start six years after the finale of Borderlands 3, which significantly changed the balance of power in the Galaxy, and Ellis - the moon of the planet Pandora - was teleported to Kairos, which became the cause of large-scale natural disasters on the planet.
For the first time the game will have a full open world, more verticality, more than 3 billion possible weapons and less of the lewd humour that made many people dislike Borderlands 3.
