More and more information is emerging about Samsung's ultra-thin flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Edge.

Yesterday, insider Sonny Dickson showed mock-ups of the entire Galaxy S26 range, of which the Edge model attracted the most attention, as its design turned out to be as similar as possible to the not yet presented iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max, images of which have repeatedly appeared in the network.

And the new information only confirmed this similarity.

Here's What We Know

Samsung is not fond of copying other people's design ideas, firmly sticking to its own style, but exclusive renders published by insider OnLeaks on the Android Headlines website confirmed that the Korean manufacturer accidentally or intentionally almost completely copied the iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max.

The Galaxy S26 Edge will have the same camera unit as the Apple flagship, located across the entire width of the smartphone body. However, with such a module, the concept of an ultra-thin gadget is completely lost, as it will be 10.8mm thick at the top, while at the bottom this figure is 5.5mm.

Android Headlines also reports that the battery capacity of the Galaxy S26 Edge will be 4200 mAh, which is 300 mAh more than the current model.

Recall, from the previous leak it became known that the similarity of the new smartphones Samsung and Apple is also manifested in the fact that both companies have abandoned the Plus model - instead of it will be released Galaxy S26 Edge and iPhone 17 Air, and new products from Samsung will receive built-in magnets for wireless charging, similar to MagSafe.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to be released in early 2026.
