"The most rounded corners in smartphone history": an insider has revealed a render of Xiaomi's flagship 16

Authoritative insider Ice Universe published a render of the front panel of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi 16, thanks to which interesting information about it became known.

Ice Universe reported that the Chinese manufacturer used LIPO technology, which allowed to make the thinnest bezel among all modern smartphones.

You can also notice a reduced opening for the front camera. But the most interesting thing is the corners of the Xiaomi 16. The insider even called them "the most rounded in the history of smartphones", noting that they are even smoother than the iPhone 17 Pro, mockups and renders of which have repeatedly appeared in the network.

The Xiaomi 16 is expected to be one of the first smartphones to feature the new (as yet unveiled) Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which will make it one of the most powerful gadgets on the market. Recall, according to insiders Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be released under the name Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

When We Can Expect It

According to rumours, will be presented in late September or early October - right after the presentation of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
