Apple may show iPad Pro with M5 processor at 9 September presentation
Rumours indicate that Apple is preparing one of the largest events in recent years - iPhone 17, Apple Watch Ultra 3, AirPods Pro 3 and other new products are expected to be launched on 9 September. Now, there is information that the company is also going to announce the iPad Pro powered by the new M5 processor at the same time as other devices.
Why It Matters
10 years ago - on 9 September 2015 - Apple first introduced the iPad Pro. The M5 iPad Pro will be the first device with the M5 chip, which is rumoured to have a separate CPU and GPU architecture - similar to how modern AMD and Intel processors consist of separate crystals. Along with the tablets, a new version of the operating system is expected to be released for all devices, including iPadOS 26. The update will bring the most changes in recent years.
Expected models:
The new iPad Pro will be available in two sizes - 11-inch and 13-inch. Each of them will traditionally have Wi-Fi and Cellular versions. Perhaps the new product will get a new design that is more in harmony with iPadOS 26.
Apple has mixed horses and humans - according to rumours, the company is going to release a MacBook Air 12.9" laptop with the "phone" Apple A18 Pro processor and a tablet with the "laptop" M5 processor.
