High-quality photos of Xiaomi 16 Pro Max have appeared on the web - is the extra screen coming back?

It seems that Xiaomi is going back to old technology - a leak from China may indicate the return of the second display, which we last saw on the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. And although the company hasn't officially confirmed anything yet, images attributed to the 16 Pro Max model have already caused a wave of discussion.

The photo shows a horizontal camera setup with two vertical sensors on the left, a third module and an LED flash - and next to it, on the right side, something that looks like a mini-screen. This can be not just a decorative element, but a functional display for notifications, selfies or music control - like in the 11 Ultra. The glossy surface stands out from the body and does not look like an ordinary decorative element. However, it may turn out that this year's design move is due to changes in the design of the iPhone Pro.

There is no official information yet, but the Xiaomi 16 series is expected to be released next month in China.
