OPPO Find X9 will surprise with ultra-thin bezels: the new flagship could be an industry benchmark

OPPO is gearing up to launch the new Find X9 flagship and the head of the Find series, Zhou Yibao, has shared the first official images and given a few details of the smartphone.

According to Zhou Yibao, the device will be the new benchmark in display design, surpassing the previous Find X8 and Find X8s and even the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The Find X9 has the narrowest bezels of any OPPO model and is likely to lead the industry in this regard - Zhou Yibao even invited fans to guess the exact size of the bezels.

The company has invested billions in its own display production lines to achieve this result. Design improvements are also noted, with "golden" rounded corners (R-corner), balanced proportions and overall body aesthetics.

The Find X9 is positioned as OPPO's most powerful standard flagship and according to insider information will get the following specifications:

• 6.59" LTPO OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate;
• MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor (3nm process technology from TSMC);
• up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0;
• 7,000mAh battery, 80W (wired) and 50W (wireless) fast charging;
• a new Danxia system for more accurate and natural-looking colours.

It is known that the Find X9 will get the following cameras:

• main: 50 MP Sony LYT-808 with optical stabilisation;
• wide-angle: 50 MP Samsung JN5;
• periscope: 50 MP Samsung JN9 with 3x optical zoom;
• 50 MP Samsung OT1 frontal.

When We Can Expect It

The Find X9 series is expected to be unveiled in China in October, with a global release on 28 October.
