Huawei Watch GT6 will have record-breaking battery life
After Apple talked about improved sleep analysis and sleep apnoea tracking in its watches, which can last 18 to 24 hours on a single charge, Huawei has officially confirmed that the new Watch GT 6 series of smartwatches will be able to last up to 21 days (not hours) on a single charge. This probably applies to the larger Pro model with Always On Display turned off, but it's still a very decent figure. For comparison, previous versions of Huawei Watch GT were usually announced with 14 days of battery life. The increase in battery life is likely due to the transition to silicon-carbon battery technology.
The official launch of the watch is scheduled for 19 September. The GT 6 series will be available in 41 mm and 46 mm sizes. Other features were previously announced, including improved tracking of outdoor sports training and improved GPS accuracy.
