Galaxy S26 Pro may not be much different from the S25 despite the lavish name

Popular insider @UniverseIce has criticised the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro and claims that the company has unreasonably changed the name to Pro.

The well-known informant is disappointed that the main changes will be the replacement of the main and ultra-wide-angle camera sensors. He called the introduction of a 50MP ultra-wide-angle module (instead of 12MP in the Galaxy S25) useless. It is not known whether the informant is referring to the low popularity of this module among users or is dissatisfied with the fact that the physical size of the matrix remained almost identical. The 10 MP telephoto camera will remain unchanged.

The situation with the processor is even more interesting. Most likely, not all S26 Pro will receive Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 - most global models will have Exynos 2600 and it is unknown whether it will be more productive than last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite.
