Co-operative shooter Borderlands 4 is already available, but only on one platform so far.

Here's What We Know

The new part of the famous series of crazy shooters with charismatic antagonists, colourful shootouts and billions of weapons has already been released on PC - on Steam and Epic Games Store.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series users will join the showdown on the planet Kairas in a few hours, but Nintendo Switch 2 fans will have to wait until 3 October.

Gearbox Studios has published a cinematic release trailer that shows off all four main characters, Amon, Vex, Harlow, and Rafe.

Recall, the events of the game will take gamers to the planet Kairos, which is ruled by a tyrant named Timekeeper. He owns his own cyber-army, which will be opposed by four Vault Hunters. The heroes will find themselves in conditions of limited freedom and will try to regain control over the situation, while doing their direct duties - searching for ancient artefacts.

The game has received excellent critical acclaim: 84% on Metacritic and 85% on OpenCritic, which is higher than Borderlands 3, but still lower than the iconic Borderlands 2.
