The beginning of Hollow Knight: Silksong just got less hardcore - the hit game has received its first major update

Super-popular metroidvania Hollow Knight: Silksong received the first major patch, when creating which the developers listened to the wishes of gamers.

Update 1.0.28497 is available only on PC in Steam and GOG, on consoles it will be released soon, but on PlayStation its waiting may take up to two days.

Team Cherry has made adjustments to Silksong's balance, making the initial stages of the game a bit easier. Boss battles with Moorwing and Sister Splinter will no longer be as difficult, rewards for item deliveries have been increased, and prices at stations and benches have been slightly reduced.

The developers fixed bugs, including the one in which killing a certain enemy did not give the player important items for the passage.

Fixed and the bug with the lack of a cloak when escaping Hornet.

The authors emphasise that if the player has already encountered any of the above problems, they should disappear after installing the patch.

Team Cherry said that the second update is already in development and will not be long in coming.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch and is featured on Game Pass.
