Polish studio Techland announced the second postponement of the release of Dying Light: The Beast, but this time those who are expecting a new zombie action game can only rejoice.

Here's What We Know

Originally the authors planned to release The Beast on the 22nd of August, but later decided to postpone the release to the 19th of September. Now Techland reported that the interest to the new part of Dying Light is so great that gamers have made more than 1 million pre-orders, and to thank them for their attention, the game will be released a day earlier - on the 18th of September.

The message is accompanied by a map with the exact release time of Dying Light: The Beast by regions.

Recall, the main character of the game will once again be Kyle Crane. After the events of the first part, he spent thirteen years in a secret laboratory, where he was subjected to genetic experiments by a man nicknamed Baron. His goal was to create a perfect hybrid of zombie and human, but Crane managed to break free and now he wants to take revenge on his enemy.

In Dying Light: The Beast there will be more open space than in the past parts, and transport is available from the very beginning of the passage. The developers promise to keep RPG elements from the second part, but expand survival mechanics, and the atmosphere will be darker and closer to horror.

Dying Light: The Beast will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
