Xiaomi prepares a compact powerful tablet Pad Mini (photo)

Xiaomi is working on a small diagonal tablet called Pad Mini. Most likely, this will be a global version of the Redmi K Pad, which will be sold exclusively in the Chinese market. The official announcement is due on 24 September 2025. Despite its small size, it will have decent performance.

Main characteristics:

• Screen: 8.8 inches, LCD, 2.5K resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate
• Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 9400+
• Battery: 7500 mAh with 67W fast charging support
• Cameras: 13 MP main, 8 MP front shooter
• OS: HyperOS 2 based on Android 15
• Body: metal

Traditionally for Xiaomi, the tablet will have SIM card support, although there may be a 5G version.
