Xiaomi accidentally unveiled a rendering of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max back cover - there will indeed be an auxiliary display

Xiaomi has pleased its fans with an unexpected leak. The company's official account on the Chinese social network Weibo changed its profile picture to a supposed render of the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Although the image was replaced almost immediately, it has already spread across fan communities and news sites.

The render confirms previous leaks and speculation about the existence of a second screen surrounding the main cameras. Xiaomi abandoned the auxiliary screens on the back after the 11 Ultra. It seems that in the new generation, we will see not just its triumphant return, but its significant increase.

It has also recently become known that the company is going to change its branding and instead of Xiaomi 16, the Xiaomi 17 line will be released.
