Xiaomi to launch Mijia Smart Neck Pillow Massager, a smart pillow that warms and massages

Xiaomi has announced a new device for comfort and health - Mijia Smart Neck Pillow Massager. The intelligent accessory is designed for those who spend a lot of time at the computer, on the road, or just want to relax after a busy day.

At the heart of the device are two massage heads powered by a brushless motor with a low noise level of less than 45 decibels. They imitate the movements of the hands: pressing, stretching, rotating and kneading, creating a massage effect. The user can choose one of three intensity levels, as well as the direction of rotation - forward or backward - depending on their preferences.

The smart massaging pillow can also warm up. Thanks to the built-in NTC temperature sensor, the pillow evenly warms the back of the neck, creating the feeling of a SPA treatment. Or a Soviet amplifier. This heat is not only pleasant, but also useful - it helps to improve blood circulation and relieve muscle contractures (spasms).

The ergonomics of the device deserve a special mention. The pillow has five-zone support that follows the natural shape of the cervical spine. Thanks to this, pressure is distributed evenly, providing comfort even during prolonged use. The cover is made of soft fabric and is easy to remove and wash.

Smart features are not left out either. Using NFC, the cushion can be quickly paired with the Mi Home app on a smartphone, where the user can choose from six preset massage modes or create their own. Two main use cases are available: a quick massage to relieve tension and a long session for deep relaxation.

The device's battery life allows you to enjoy a continuous massage for up to 100 minutes without recharging, and its compact design makes it an ideal travelling companion. Xiaomi is raising money for the device on the Youpin crowdfunding platform with a pledge of 259 yuan, which is approximately $36, while the retail price will be 369 yuan (approximately $52).
