Arachnophobes do not enter! Hunt: Showdown 1896 will have a dark event Web of the Empress

Crytek has announced another event, which will take place in the popular PvPvE-shooter Hunt: Showdown 1896.

This time gamers will be waiting for "Web of the Empress" (Web of the Empress) and the name of the event immediately warns that the game will be temporarily uncomfortable for arachnophobes.

Here's What We Know

Web of the Empress launches on 24 September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and will run until 10 December.

The theme of the event will be related to spider-like monsters, which is demonstrated by the announcement trailer.

At the end of the trailer the audience was shown a girl with a burning card, which symbolises the main innovation of the update: in Hunt: Showdown 1896 there will be an opportunity to use twelve Tarot cards, each of which has a unique effect - one of them allows you to inflict devastating damage to enemies, but at the same time sets the player's character on fire.

Tarot cards can be found in spiders' nests, which will make arachnophobes even happier.

In addition, the game will feature two new weapons and Destiny's Dial - paid lootboxes with random rewards.

Simultaneously with the event, Hunt: Showdown 1896 will receive update 2.5.
