Xiaomi teases Xiaomi Pad 8 tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite and 16 GB of RAM

Xiaomi is going to launch the Xiaomi Pad 8 line of tablets, which is likely to debut at the same time as the flagship Xiaomi 17 smartphones in late September. Although there is no official confirmation of the date yet, the promotional poster already hints at an imminent release.

Externally, the Pad 8 series will have thin bezels around the 11.2-inch display, which follows the design of the previous Pad 7 series. Both standard and Pro models will come with branded accessories, including a keyboard and stylus. The tablets will run on HyperOS 3, based on Android 15.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is particularly noteworthy, as it was found in the Geekbench database. Testing has shown that the device will receive the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, has 16 GB of RAM, and runs on Android 16. In Geekbench tests, it scored 2831 points in single-core mode and 9260 points in multi-core mode, so it will be one of the most productive tablets on the market.
